Hello Rotarians! This week's meeting is an Evening Fellowship Event at Lock 34. Even if you haven't been to Rotary in a long time, we would love to see you! Our evening fellowships are a great way to get to know your fellow Rotarians in a relaxed atmosphere and is perfect for those who can't make it to the Tuesday lunch meetings. Every Rotarian is encouraged to bring a guest - it could be your spouse, partner, co-worker, friend, next door neighbor...whomever! It is also nice way to introduce a future member to our club. Dear Fellow Rotarians, It is my pleasure to invite you to attend our Rotary Club of Lockport Fireside Chat on Wednesday, November 4th at 5PM in the Rotary Room at the Kenan Center Arena. The evening will provide a deeper dive into the initiatives of the Rotary Club of Lockport and Rotary International. ALL Rotarians are encouraged to attend, especially our newest members. It is my hope that this event will connect or re-connect each of you with Rotary initiatives that get you excited to particpate. Light refreshments will be provided. Join fellow Rotarians and guests on Saturday, November 14 from 9 am – 12 Noon for a Market Street Trail Clean-Up. While we are picking up debris from the summer, we will also clear leaves and fallen tree limbs from the canalside park. In addition to bringing leaf rakes pruning shears, blowers and tarps, wear gloves and heavy boots to help make the morning’s work go quickly! The Clean Up begins at Scalzo Park at the top of Market Street hill, opposite Cornerstone Ice Arena. |
